People put prices on peoples lives all the time, if your really lucky and the company you worked when you were killed on the job can afford it your life might be worth 100,000 dollars.

Not every one lives in a good neighbourhood has a firearms licence etc etc, there are bad people in the world.

Your post suggests that the police need to be careful handing out tickets, and that a cops life is worth less than 10K to most tradies? With the alleged fine being 10K, are you insinuating that most of us (tradies) would consider knocking off a cop rather than take the fine?

I suggested they need to becarefull handing out ten thousand dollar tickets for a sticker on a bbq gas bottle not being visible.
Ten thousand dollars is more than enough for many to end their own life as maca said and some do it just for fun as in the beating example.
I have worked with both types and you or anyone else wouldn't pick them out of a crowd as any different to anyone else.
