Heavy weight is right. Tare is listed at 3720kg and ATM at 4495kg. Like to see that towed by the average double cab. lol

Can that be towed legally on anything other than a COF in NZ? Doesn't seem to fit within our current rules at first read of the specs???

I think anything over 3500kg needs a COF, but GVM means full rig will need class 2 license.

Interesting we weighed our caravan the other day we were over by 40kg and we had tried our best to load as light as possible.

Empty the water tank haha... That and transfer 40Kg of kitchen and pantry to the tow vehicle.

Mates one was OK on the way to the camp ground, was weighed on the way home at a checkpoint and 76Kg over! 87Kg of "pretty rocks" (plain grey river/beach stones) collected by the 5yo daughter and secreted into the drawer by her bed! Even the cops were laughing on that one...

No onboard tanks, we moved all the read books, spare cat biscuits and my tramping gear to the Ute and some spare bedding that's not needed now and that's us pretty much on weight.
