Nice conversion. I knew a guy down here who had the same bike, he wishes he had kept it. I think the pre 97 motor is the wildest of the lot IIRC. This will still be an animal for arm pump but a hell of a lot of fun

    Selling part of your manhood!!
That bike would be an absolute beast.
Its a shame the 2 stokes were ceased to be manufactured.(apart from ktm)
Save our Tahr. They belong in the southern alps.

    !!!!!!!

I cannot find the appropriate words... It's a face melting wheelie machine - It has nothing whatsoever to do with tea..

    Surely you haven't riden one!?

They "are oh my word" fast and shoot relentless fireballs of twostroke coolness

Sorry I'm thinking in practical terms around a MX track.

This is like a top fuel dragster and a 450F is like an Evo.

Never ridden a 500 two stroke so my opinion on tea is quite limited/irrelevant.

The 500 AF is actually a pound or two lighter than the 450...

    Man bike.

I used a Kx500 continuously from 1987 to 2002 And am fairly sure the dry weight was 100kg and the 250 was 97 kg

Again I'm guessing but I think the new 450f bikes are 111kg.

I kept my first one inside

Epic fun for covering Sika country

Top fuel is a just because thing. Like 500 strokers. Cool cause they are cool. Id have the 500 in a heartbeat and motard it.
