Thread: Name my Boat

hey gents, (and lady's)
i got a boat!
its a 5 mtr figlass dominator with a 90hp merc on the back, i picked it cheap off a fella, who had installed the new motor on it and run less than 200hrs on it since 1994!
it also came with a johnson 7.5hp aux built in oz in 1983.

hunting trips accross to fiordland now dont need a helli and a lazy weekender with the family dragging a couple tazzies around looking for a trout will be top of the list!
so i have pulled both motors rite down, decarbonised the internals replaced all the usual stuff (plugs impeller filters etc) all the usual stuff. they are running perfectly. there was very little corrosion (read none) at all, as most of the use is on freshwater lakes round these parts, with the occasional run off shore for a feed of blue cod. you could probably count on one hand the amount of trips this boat has had in the salt.
i used some threaded rod and made a couple brackets up as a umbilical cord to steer the aux motor from the main motors steering.seams to work well.
anyway, i repacked the wheel bearings, they were fine but i will need to sort a bracket for the spare. other than that the trailer is really in very good order.

the seating is just 2 pedestals with a couple more buckets on the back pod. i will build a couple king queen style seats up front to replace the pedestals. it will give me a little storage under them as well which will be handy.
it then needs a canopy, i will get one custom built to completely enclose the working area of the boat with zip off panels to keep everyone warm when its shitty out.
it came with a near new VHF radio, having never had one i found out i need an operators ticket to use it, also i need a call sign and the boat needs a name!
so i hope you mite come up with any suggestions.
i wanted it to be a gun related name, i am just strugling with one ATM.

I've owned mine over 10 years and it's still call a Sea Nymph! Never get anywhere when we discuss a name. But Taupo now needs a name or number on the boat.
AR15 would cover both of those for me, I ask the boss
