Wife spotted Nissan are doing 1% APR finance deals. Thoughts on the latest version Navaras? It'll only get light 4wd use and is mainly as daily driver and tow vehicle.
Finance deal is on any model however they have a special version Navara called the SL-450. Seems to be the basic SL model with minor cosmetic tweaks making it closer to the higher ST model. The SL-450 is $49k and the SL is normally $56-58k and the ST $60-62k so seems like a good buy.
We've been saving with target of cash buy late 2022 but at 1% APR better to leave it in bank and use it to offset mortgage. 1% vs 4% (and rising!).
We're tempted also on safety reasons as our 2005 6 cylinder Outback is approaching 200,000km and while it's got plenty of power to tow the boat it is above its rating (car spec 1800kg braked, boat 2200kg)

Any thoughts appreciated. Especially on where you think ute prices might go. Obviously going up in January however might there be some awesome sales or field day deals a few months later?
An SUV would probably suit us better than double cab however looking around SUV equivs are all higher $ than the double cab. Triton vs Pajero, Hilux vs Prado, etc
