need some suggestions of choosing between Ford Everest & Land Cruiser

    Hi.

Hope you pros could share some inputs about these two SUV, Ford Everest & LC. I like Jeep Wranglers and Ute but those are for hunting and fishing purpose vehicles, and I do need a SUV which has enough space so that I can put all my belongings in if I need to relocate to somewhere else. I have a Nissan x -trail 2.0, imported from Japan and I am the 1st owner, I like it very much and there were lots of good memories on it. But after received a phone call this morning, I have to let it go, either to put it some where else, or sell it. So, I have to pick up another SUV, or keep my Jam, I call my x trial, Jam.

    Thank you.

Ive had both if towing big loads like 3000-3500kg then land cruiser but for lighter towing and general use the Everest is awesome i loved mine and would buy another one in a heartbeat.
Only the Everest cause it was getting used like a ute too much so i brought a ranger.

Hey I'll have a crack, having not long ago done this. The everest is perhaps better on road, the landcruiser dominates it off road and in the storage space.
The everest is just a Suv body on ranger running gear so the seating comfort in the back is not the best.
Landcruiser for the win especially if towing.

Thank you guys. So LC won, especially for SI use.

Everest is cheaper, lighter running gear, less vibration from the engine, more advanced electronics and safety features and better roadholding and on road manners including better fuel economy. Landcrusier is an older design ethos vehicle - so more robust running gear and older tech engine etc. As others have said, the LC will be a slightly better tow vehicle depending on trailer configuration although I have found my ranger much better than the LC in this regard with much cheaper overall running costs while doing it.

Having said that, if you are doing hard off road or construction level work the Everest is not your better choice, and a few of the Everest's design choices (electronic modules mounted low and some components in vulnerable locations) mean that I wouldn't be as comfortable doing a lot of deep river work etc.

Needs to be a bit of clarification around which Landcruiser you are referring to.

Oh, you have both I like Ranger, double cap will be my choice, just it is not fit my situation right now. How was the Ranger maintained cost every year?

I like old version LC, 24v diesel, but have to buy a modern one, not Prodo because maybe it will be used for business, so LX series, or LC80s is not on the list. Actually for me there is no much choice, and these two are only option.
