My Dad lived through the German occupation of Holland 1940-44.

After the war he had a desire to understand what happened and why. He read extensively on the topic of the third reich.

I still have some of those books. I also have some of his grave abhorrence for the mindset of the far right.

But according to this, possessing those books is a red flag.
