    Yeah they're pretty good. Keep the oil fresh in the petrol ones. They still suffer from noisey lifters like most mitsi motors, but that's not a worry really.
    I'm drawn to the mountains and the bush, it's where life is clear, where the world makes the most sense.

    My evo was terrible, added some additive and they shut up for a while. I miss that crazy car

    Pro-ma (spelling?) oil additive is really really good for sorting this out.

    My legnum Vr4 was the same, noisy tappets. super fun though.
    As long as you look after them they go real well. Had that thing from 60k -320k

    You had a VR4 last to 320k? Very impressive, most of them seemed to explode or fall apart a long way before that.

    Yup, sold it at that point and was still a mint runner.
    It did not have an easy life either but well looked after maintenance wise.
