    When your doing over 60k a year rough round the edges don't cut it, I'm starting to look more towards comfort and economy now that I spend so much time in it. If that means not having the most powerful ute around so be it.
    Anyway if you want a Grunty ute you can forget the ranger, it's about the same as the STX 450. If you want power and a smooth engine get a V6 STX550 they are a massive step ahead in the grunt stakes.

    Nissan is old technology and high maintenance, brakes,rotor etc. why don't you buy a station wagon?

    Agree it's old tec but still as good as a ranger. But your only worried about power and the 550 has shit loads of it.

    I need a ute for tax purposes. Also I need a capable 4wd for off road and a 2.5 ton plus tow rating, what station wagon can do that?
