Thread: The original sxs

I brought one back in about 1989 - originally green while i lived in Blenheim. Previous owner converted in to Corolla 1300 engine. Ran well with beefed up drive shaft as well. I media blasted (plastic beads) the complete body to bare metal at work. Repainted in white. Aside from my hunting wagon, i also used it in the mud plug competitions in the Marlborough region. Got a prize for rolling it the most in one comp! Did little panel damage aside from the battery blowing up - i forgot to re check the fluid level! I even drove it to Auckland early 90's where i eventually sold it.
