I wouldn't touch a trx 420 especially the pre 2010 they had terrible fuel problems

Got a 550 Polaris so far no issues (3 years) farm work and play bike. Neighbour had a canam universals kept going. 800 seems a stupid amount of power for a quad also be aware that it won't fit across a Ute deck and the area will hang off a cab and a half. For hunting only look at a Suzuki eiger or other 400 they are good and don't cost the earth second hand.

That would be because he hadn't bothered to service it for the last 10,000 kms....

Id take the honda over the Polaris.
As stated the pre 2010 420 has fuel issues but it's a easy fix.

I've got a mate that sells and services them, he's got a few good things to say, mainly about how much he makes off of them and how much Polaris pay him to do warranty work.

He does say they are quite good bikes, not sure about ones that old though.

I was always a honda fan back when i rode 2 wheels.
Found a 2012 trx for the same money, lower ks and hrs than the 2009 so might go that way.

Holly f***, that pricy, 25000km, I am trying to sell my 2006 Yahama 660 grizley, winch, snow blade, gun boot, rear compartments, lots other mods, alloy guards on every axle, New mags and rubber 2.5g worth, 1300km, and I getting nickled down to less than 5g, I don't use it, bought it off a mate who was on hard times, to help him out, now I am tripping over it.
I had better check, if I have room in sea can to ship it back with the V-star 1100,

I can see the seat sitting on the table in the second photo.

Too much gear on it though adding more weight to it's already high centre of gravity.
