    Radar Renegade RT Plus tyres

    Thanks those who replied about the Patriot R/T tyres.
    Now I've found the Patriots are not available locally in the size I'm after (265/75/16), but been told they are exactly the same as Radar Renegade RT Plus which are available.
    So, any experience with the Renegades? cheers

    I run them currently. Not had the truck long but had them in very wet and some steep rocky ground. No slip at all. They are also nice and quiet around town. When I downsize my current 20” rims I’ll be getting them again.

    Expensive. Wear fast. Noisy when 1/2 worn. Good grip though.
    Value for money - not imo.
    Maxxis Razr MT been better on my Hilux.

    I see the Aussies using the MarkMa Dakar RT tyre a fair bit now.
    The Goodyear Boulders would be nice but waaaay over priced

    I bought some Greentrek R/Ts for my Triton, noisy on road but seem pretty good so far..... cheap as chips as well.

    The Radar Renegades I wouldn't even put on my mother in law , pretty junk mileage , horrible in the wet , noisy when they get a touch of uneven wear on them.

    Got a budget in mind?

    Just buy BFGs A/Ts,should get 80ks,take you most places.Problem solved.Buying cheap,you end up buying twice.
