    Recharge your air-con!!!

I recently noted the CRC Air-Conditioning DIY recharge canisters are available here in NZ. So after being low on gas for a year or three , I figured a $100 can including the guage and hose kit was an affordable option after being quoted $300+ by a couple of places

It’s made those linger journeys suddenly more bearable again, and acknowledging there might be a slow leak somewhere, at least it’s an affordable (refill cans are cheaper once you’ve got the hose kit) seasonal option

If you can identify the L valve on your air con system, it may be worth a try!

Naturally you should read up everything, YouTube has some good clips, and do remember that venting the gas is not planet-friendly.

@SiB Holly shit mate, I got a can of it at SuperCheap in Invers for $65 not on sale.
It is a good cheap option to sort the AC especially down in these warmer parts!

Went and picked up a can, but the connector is the wrong size for the low pressure port, any idea's?

Did you try jiggling the connector? I thought same at first.

Failing that see what google says. I recall there was mention somewhere it mightn’t fit all. What’s your vehicle?

I’d start with a hydraulic fittings supplier if an adapter is reqd. I’m honestly not sure-I think there’s a refrigeration expert here.

    Bottom line take care.

I have been quoted quite a bit more than that!

With the right gear in hand, it's like $8 worth of gas. And I think that covers disposal of recovered gas too
