Thread: RUC increase 1st July

Funny that with all the hooha about the cost of rego going down, the powers at be never mentioned the cost of RUCs was going up.
I've alway begrudgingly paid for RUCs, but they have to be taking the piss now. Fuel is already taxed to buggery, i get taxed more when I decide to do extra hours at work and now it's goung to cost more just to drive to work.

Petrol tax has had the same 5% increase, but haven't really seen a change at the pump un the last few days.

There a pack of fukin wankers, work for cash keep it out of the fukin bank where john keys the corrupt wanker can't get his hands on it. Think where getting somewhere then bam just another tax so they can change the flag

Only 40% of the economy in Greece was over the table, the rest was all cash and kickbacks. It didnt work out too well for them.

Shit you don't want to be caught that much over, the fine is extortionate, twice the outstanding amount, then you have to buy some to get back to par, then however more you want.

What's RUC?

Gone are the days of fines being calculated on how far you are over. Straight $150 fine if I recall correctly, I've never issued one. Kind of pointless as they'll just get sent the bill after their next WOF and have to back pay much like rego.
