Thread: Suzuki Jimny

When shopping for my Jimny I looked at the older 1,300cc model but decided to go for the new model as I found the older one a little cramped for my large frame. My comments are for the later model. For my use I have found it quite large enough. The back seats have never been used so there is plenty of room for the things I need to take to the range including a small portable bench rest made from a sawhorse, 4 foot screens for the chronograph etc. My old trailer, that I had for 40 years, had become too heavy for me to move so I bought a small and light Kea trailer so if it won't fit inside it goes on that. I towed it up to Taupo and back with some 1.3 x 1.2 metre targets and it went much better than expected and not much harder on petrol than normal. For my use it is ideal and would buy another in a flash.
Only you can decide what you need as what you have said is a second car for commuting Happy choosing,
