Up North it's a Compass Trailer in Dargavile that you have to get.
I have an 8x5 Domestic Grade one from them. Very happy with it, Ply deck, Has both tie down hooks and a rail around the top of the sides. Plus a cross brace on the draw bar, and braces on the wheel guards as well
Plenty of options including different floor material
They also do Farm and Commercial trailers as well.

Further to previous post if you can afford it the the Keas or Prescotts of which I have used around here are good.
They are a better trailer than the Titan I got.
But for what I need a trailer for now I couldn't justify the the price difference.
The old story you cannot go too far wrong buying the most expensive you can afford be it a shotgun ,rifle, pack or trailer.

I make trailers. Im just going through the process of bulding a 3.6 x 2 m flat deck. The price of steel and galv, running gear etc almost makes it not worth doing.
Some things to note. Always use 14" tyres. Much better carrying capacity and run cooler than 13's.
Use quality bearings. Timken, Saeco, NTN etc . Chinese bearings are cheap shit and wont last the distance.
I always put an electrical junction box under the front deck where the draw bar enters the deck. Then if you have to change the forward wiring loom and plug its only a short length to replace. ( if you have mates drag the plug, back into it and cut the wiring off etc etc) all been done before.
easy to do when you're building them. oh and weld a serial number into the chassis. stops them being re registered without a trace by these thieving shitbags .
Orion trailers in Pahiatua are the best

Good to know. I planning on having a custom digger trailer made which will take my auger bits and drive unit as well, and have been hunting around a bit to see who to get to make it.

Worth mentioning that if going with the typical 8' x 4' size, then it's helpful to have the trailer dimensioned to accept an imperial 8ft x 4ft (2440mm x 1220mm) floor sheet. That way all the metric sheets you'll be buying can lie down flat!
