In fairness - there hasnt been any changes in something like 5 years.

And some charges are going down - the cost to renew a drivers licence drops on 1/10/23 , along will some other charges. In the process of licence renewal currently .

Having to pay an administration fee to buy a 'tax ticket' that you are compelled to have by law strikes me as pure extortion! Nothing more than a modern version of Highwaymen and probably deserving of the traditional response.

This Oct increase will push the shipping cost to a new level
which makes everything even more expensive as the cycle goes.

My COF also going up from $60.

At least we get good value from them, with our excellent infrastructure and the supurb job NZTA and the Police do keeping the roads safe.

They just stop paying. A "catch me if you can" situation...

I know a few guys that are into motorbikes. The rego cost is so high for them as they have a few bikes each it's cheaper to pay the fine IF they get caught.

A walk through town this morning revealed a whole lot of cars with expired rego lables, some over a year out.
Not saying they were out of rego but the lables were.

27 - The number of pot holes between my driveway ant the intersection at the end of our road. The NZTA has definitely taken a massive nose dive in the last few years.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

wrong, it works splendidly, keeps the pleb docile because it makes them believe they can have a say in how things are going.
