Thread: What caliber........... boat.

for what its worth we have a plain jane 13' tinny and now have a 15hp 2stroke on it....it will do 39kmph with 2 adults and 2 dogs so should comfortably drag a bickie along if you werent trying to be a hoon and tip someone out...it will take care of any lake fishing we ever want to do and if its to rough or choppy for it we shouldnt be out on water. we have caught loads of fish from it and it owes us nothing...I believe now we have a 15 I possibly COULD use 20ltrs of fuel in a weekend but it would be a big one.... you stick say a 140hp on back of a boat and you will use that in a couple of hours if you lucky. horses for courses...work out what you really want to do and go backwards from there.
