Thread: winch rope

winch (9500lbs terrain tamer) i brought had steel on it when i got it, has been replaced with dynema sythetic and i love it. after my last trip the rope is getting a bit frayed in places, where would i find a cheap source for another rope? the one i got was a cast off from someone and they dont have anymore.

quite like the idea of having it spare in the back of the truck, weighs nothing and if i have it set up with a loop at each end then its and easy extension, can cut the loop off and feed it onto the drum if the main one snaps.
