Looks like the red rocket lives! minus a tail and a bit of bark off the back legs. A very lucky pup!

Yeah, I still can't get over the guilt of it... None of my dogs sleep under parked vehicles, so I never have needed to check. It was a stinking hot day so I can see why he was under there, nice breeze and a bit of shade. I made it about 2m in reverse when I heard the yelp, his rear leg and tail had gone behind the brake disc, and his tail had been sheared clean off at the rump. The foot looked pretty bad, and by the time I drove forward to untangle him, he ripped his foot free. Amazing how much blood there is in such a little dog!
Vets x-rayed and checked him, kept him overnight too. A clear bill of health has seen him rarking up my mates cats at home tonight. A very close 'shave' if you will, and being so young I'm sure he will bounce back. Still feel guilty as hell though!

Thanks for the vote of confidence Uplander haha...
Ruff, the three-ton apparatus I used to dock the poor bugger is warranted and registered, does that count?

Just got word he is bouncing around the paddock this morning like nothing happened. Makes me feel a bit better
