    1080 For JAFFA ville

With the ARC agreeing to a aerial 1080 drop of the Hunua Ranges lets hope the anti- 1080 group receives a bit more support, wonder if NIMBY syndicate shows their colours.

    Bloody dick heads.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

From the activity on talkback radio today I would say the NIMBY's are alarmed. We have got a years warning and a year is a long time in this dirty game.

Just read this morning that an Angler has taken a trout from the Hutt River and that catchment got a dumping last week.

Techincally its Auckland Council doing the drop. ARC (Regional Council) ceased to exist in 2010.

But generally 99% of Aucklanders don't know or don't care about 1080, so don't expect much fuss.

Here is a link to Looney Len's web site explaining "some " of it.

Nope. When you read the report, it is easy to see they were convinced by nothing more than spin and bullshit. As scribe says, 12 months is a long time. The ACC might end up drowning in their own filth.

They will be stretching it to find good science to back 1080 after 60 years of use.

We are now throwing more 1080 on our forests every year. There is trouble ahead for any country that is that stupid.

In the end the rest of the World will beat us over the head with our own foolish claims of being 100% Pure New Zealand

Live trap all of the rats, mice and possums and then release them in the beehive. The little critters would be dead in a minute in that toxic environment.
