My likelihood of making it this year would be zero.

    A Qquick report....

    Awesome event yet again!!
    Well done SCRSC!!

Our team did quite well. Last minute access issues caused a couple of headaches, but we managed to sneak onto a place at the last minute via scottrods contacts. Cheers Irish Smiley

154 roos between 5 in our team.

Friday afternnon was hard due to the heat, but spotlighting made up for a poor afternoon shooting.
Saturday was better. Later start than expected, due to a very late night spotlighting, but still morning at least lol.
I broke the record (easily) for the most expensive roo early on Saturday's effort. But I was getting cheered on, so just kept right on pulling the trigger - just because I could. Had to take it easy for the rest of the day to save ammo - yeah right Shocked Grin
Recovery proved the biggest problem. But we got enough for our team to bag a few anyway. Plus keenfella got a beauty buck, so he got to weigh him in. 19kg even. Only missed out on 3rd by .2kg.

The crew had lots of fun and the banter was legendary like usual.

Can't wait till next year. Cool

Thanks again to SCRSC, Karearea, scottrods, keenfella, 270moss.

Pic of the drive in on Friday. Went from misty rain to very hot. Pic was taken looking down over the Waitaki Valley.
