Thread: The 2019 Toby Goodley Auction

Right punters

After the cancellation of the TGMS weekend I still want to keep the auction going & demonstrate to everyone just what a bunch of good guys'n'girls we are.

I have been offered a number of items from some very generous people to put in the auction which sadly now won't be happening, so I'm going to run an online forum auction with all proceeds going to the CCF

So here's my plan

I will run a weekly auction in the buy'n'sell section ( also linked on this thread ) of a donated item, It will finish at 8:00 pm every Sunday then once finished, I get one of our fine mods to delete.

A photo & description will be uploaded, place your bids & then at 8:00 every Sunday the auction will finish with the highest bid winning & a new item will be put up. The lucky winner will then deposit the moneys into the forum account we used at the Kurow shoot, once I receive the call that the funds have gone through I'll have the item sent.

Gee's now that just awesome aye

All proceeds will go into the kitty, Harry & Owen ( two genuine GC's ) will then tally up the funds & at a certain time contact The Child Cancer Foundation with the donation being put under Toby Goodley & the NZHS forum members.

If you would like to contribute something to the cause please PM me, any thing is much appreciated

How long this will carry on is up to you guys, maybe a month or two but I would truly love to see this as an ongoing thread of generosity showing the true spirit of the NZ hunting & shooting community.

Hi Gentlemen
This forum, yes, you unruly lot in particular, have just donated $3550.00 to the Child Cancer Foundation for the 2019 year.
This was a marvelous effort for a group that due to whatever circumstance didn't actually have a meet this year.

A massive thanks to those who donated the items to be auctioned, it would not have been anything without your generosity
If you took part in the auction, as many did, and even if you didn't win but bid, then the intention was there, so please allow yourself a moment to feel that it was a job well done.
