Another year, another Central North Island Get-together

'Bout time to have another get-together... hopefully this time without the rain!

Saturday 9th Nov. Doesn't look like there's much important going on that date, unless you're a Buzzcocks fan

Welcome from midday on. plenty of camping options, and The Cottage for those of the more Senior years.

Anyone's welcome to come a day or two early or stay a day or two late and help deal with the farm's hare and rabbit problem, but we'll not be shooting on Saturday.

Bring your own camping and eating gear. There will be a gas barby and a charcoal barby on tap to throw your food on.

We'll have to keep the bonfire size in check this time, as the Pines are starting to get a wee bit on the big side now.

PM for directions closer to the time.

What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

Mate let’s be honest, a hungry bear is more likely to want to eat someone of my proportions than you. There is not enough meat on your bones to replace the energy the bear would expend chasing you.

And don't forget what I'll smell like by the time he's caught me. There'll be brown stuff everywhere.

    You'll be OK Gibo.
Apparently two beers and I act like a five year old.
