    I like that you have put big tyres on the truck but feel the need to point out that it is not on correctly.

    15 forumites had a great catch-up yesterday. As the night wore on the circle around the fireplace got smaller and smaller as the temps dropped.

    Anyone worried about the recent elections results, fear not: @Rushy and @Maca49 put the world's woes to rights, and have it all sorted. just ask them

    I showed my wife gathering photo of what I missed.

    Geez she said . They're all old codgers.

    Maybe next year.

    That one is pretty much it. The rest were gathered around the gas barby cooking a variety of meats. The only veges spied were in Woody's hotpot.

    Just got home and have cleaned up and been fed and watered. It was great evening and met some more forum members and put faces to forum handles (always a pleasure). I really appreciate that Simon generously gives of his organisational abilities, time and venue as these occasions serve each of our need for time for self.

    Yes Maca and I solved all the problems of the world (which always happens when we get together) and as we go through the list the solutions are either “fuck em” or “shoot em” …. Oh except the one where we came up with the solution to two major global issues by deciding that feeding the homeless to the hungry was probably a good idea.

    Bring on the next one. Autumn?

    @XR500
    Thankyou again for arranging this get together allowing a highly convivial atmosphere of friendly, relaxed and lightheatred banter and exchange of views. The experience was food for the soul.
    It was my first time and I would certainly hope to attend the next, or another. It was a great pleasure to meet previously unmet forum members and put faces to names.
    Really appreciate the opportunity and trust to do a little stalking around your farm. You reside in a lovely spot.
    Take care, until next time.
    Cheers

    Given your prowess at reversing, I certainly wouldn't want to leave any unattended tricycles, chickens or small dogs lying about the place next time

    Perhaps we could turn this into a competition next year with the winners trophy donated by Ross .... ??
    Ross has certainly set the bar there but the good thing is there is a whole year to practise and get techniques perfected
    I could possibly assist by rounding up some spare tricycles or chickens if admin decided they should be included .... ??
