A 20x30 tent.
Smells like wet socks and crushed dreams.
I'm all about lowering the average age, standards and expectations. It's what I do.
We'll skip the stand to beds @0530 hours though:omg:
Looks like I can make it, I'll up the average age and lower the IQ
@XR500. Save a bunk for me please :)

For those that have been here before, here's a pic of the stuff you left behind, so you won't need to bring it a second time.
@7mmsaum, someone dropped off some Sako .308 cases for you. Here if you are passing through, or I can throw in the mail and see where in NZ they end up:omg:

Was perusing the aisles of the local food establishment, and saw they had left their hazsubs lockup open, and just anyone could reach in and grab a crate. Pretty dangerous I thought...

Pretty sharp price for the "nectar of the gods" as some might call it. Others may disagree though.
so we are to do some stock drenching while we are there
I didn't have any of the correct Hazsubs placarding for transporting such a dangerous cargo, so left it in its safe place:cool:
You don't need any placarding if you're transporting as a private citizen, nor do you need to separate classes. How often do you see petrol, gas bottles, groceries etc in the back of a Ute that's been to town all jumbled up. Go back and get them and to hell with the risk
Shhhhh!
The 9th is only 4 days past the 5th. 'Nuff said:cool:
Yesterday's frost killed most of the tomato plants I put in over the weekend:XD: , so it can still be cold here overnight. So come prepared for cool weather guys.
Having said that, the forecast is for mid teens temperatures, and no rain:thumbsup:
Looks like we will have 20+ forumites here for the weekend, with a couple turning up early to help lower the hare population:thumbsup::thumbsup:
If I have missed sending anyone the directions to get here, drop me a pm.

Just to prove me wrong, the temperature for the past 3 days has reached 19 degrees each afternoon. In cloudy conditions. And appears to want to hang around for another few days, so the lack of a big bonfire shouldn't mean too much for peoples comfort levels. Also it appears that Saturday will be a sunniest for this week (Windy).
So have got Rushy's stage all set up for him to entertain us from. As long as he doesn't fall off the side of the truck!
Looking at the numbers attending, my gas barby and charcoal barby may not crank out enough tucker quick enough, so if anyone has room in their wagon to drag down another barby, it would be appreciated by all:thumbsup:

I like that you have put big tyres on the truck but feel the need to point out that it is not on correctly.
15 forumites had a great catch-up yesterday. As the night wore on the circle around the fireplace got smaller and smaller as the temps dropped.
Anyone worried about the recent elections results, fear not: @Rushy and @Maca49 put the world's woes to rights, and have it all sorted. just ask them:thumbsup:

Thanks for a great evening Simon, much appreciated.
P.s. How's the trough?
Yep. Very enjoyable gathering. Thanks Simon and all you good buggers :)
The Nolan slalom event was an interesting innovation too :)
