April Fools get together - Central North Island

February is almost done and dusted, and as we met quite a few GC's at the first open home here outside of Kinloch, I thought I'd offer up our farm again for a bit of a get together prior to Easter, and more importantly prior to the Sika roar

Saturday 01 April, from lunchtime on.

Been so wet that we can build the bonfire as high as we like with little fear of it going AWOL, and have just changed all the oils in the dozer so some pyro can have fun getting it all going

We've been having 10 degree nights here for the last week or two, so by April people will need some warm clothing when they are not roasting themselves in front of the fire.

Long drop and hot shower on site. A few beds inside the cottage will be available for those more senior gents, otherwise come with camping/caravaning gear for the overnight stay.

Any Flood affected types who need a break by then, feel free to come on over for a longer period, and we'll give you a few laughs, some hospitality and we'll rustle up some 'stress relief' activities

    PM me for further details.

How is it that an opportunity as auspicious as this has gone unnoticed and not responded to by the masses? Give me the chance to consult with my youngest (as it is her birthday on 3rd April and she may come up from New Plymouth) and I will let you know. I am certainly interested.

I'll be keen on that, will work towards making that date free and creating other excuses for traveling south.

@Maca49 are you going to be in Kinloch when this is on? I am thinking two birds, one stone.

That is a wonderful offer, unfortunately my plans can't change so will just have to read about it.
