I'd be keen most likely... as long as another weather bomb doesn't hit.
You got a location?
location yet to be finalised but have two areas in mind, dependant on numbers
I'd be keen if the timings right
i might be able to make it depending on dates, not sure if i'll hit anything but i'll give it a go with my old school 308.
I am sure all the usual crew will be keen. Its only locations that are generally the problem.
I keen, just need prior notice
lST TWO WEEKS OF april and imm keen
sounds good to me.
why cant i edit? I ment last 2 lol
I could be keen, ill be down that way for work, so as long as I can sort accomodation near where ever it is, ill be in. 7mm08 should be able to hit some thing...
yep i be keen!
I would be keen
Any firm date?
we will be keen
allways keen if I can get there....and guns are in one piece. One day I might stop changing things...maybee :P
I could be keen too if dates suit and my gun is built.
Well it looks as tho the thread author has done the runner.... If one of you other guys wants to take the initiative ill be in the nth island over the next two weeks, would be nice to meet some of u nth island members..... So possibly, and just to put it out there but SATURDAY 28th APRIL? Location ????????
Adam
Yup id be keen for the 28th April.
If we shoot at the Kune range - we must go longer this time! Although I will need to extend my drop chart :)
Great I have no idea where kune is but.......... Im not sure if ill have any of my LR toys at this stage.... Prob just my .270 but its a shoe in to 500m & been known to get all touchy much further lol...
Depending on times I am keen.
This time I will bring ammo. Turns out that stuff is real handy :ORLY:
I'll be running the Rotorua Half Marathon on the 28th - so that puts me out :(
I am keen :)
Looks like we might have to postpone this for a couple of weeks or so, once the start of the Duck shooting season is out of the way :)
An update- Pencil in the 2nd or 3rd weekend in June at this stage
What format will this shoot take -just turn up and plink? or a comp under a bit of time pressure ?
Just the normal plink with someone taking turns spotting, Will put another plate out to 1200+ yards this time & maybe a few ballons or clays set up
Depends on what guys want to do, if they want a little comp then that could be part of the day
It was bloody wet in there last time
I can imagine the lower field getting very wet but one can shoot from the upper bank near the barn out to at least 1000 yards
I shot out if the barn upstairs in the pissing rain out to 1000 last time. Not good with a brake though.
Ive another thread going North against south -of the north island of course -would you guys consider making this shoot that shoot ? A bit of fun and rivalry and would give impetus to an on going event for the future on the forum ?
