The annual Charles Upham Memorial Match is being held at Clevedon Rifle Club in Auckland on the 18th and 19th of January. This is one of New Zealand's oldest sporting trophies, going back to the 1870's.

Shooting will be from 25y to 500y
Day 1 is 300y and 500y
Day 2 is 100y and closer
Format is Service Rifle (4 position shooting, reasonably fast time limits and reasonably high round count)
Classic Service Class - As issued military rifles, no optics.
Modern Service Class - A limited class for modern bolt actions (See Service Match Code on NZSRA website for details)
Open Class - Anything else.
All are welcome, no membership to ASRA or NZSRA is necessary. If you have been thinking of giving service rifle a try, you are welcome to come and have a go.
There is a half day practice on Sat 11th Jan at Clevedon Rifle Club from 1pm. We will likely shoot at 100y, 300y and 500y.
