A bit far for me but always worthwhile these get togethers.
A bunch of GC's getting together and discussing stuff they like to do with room to move on hunting outcomes and group size shrinking as the night goes on.
Wankers get sorted pretty quickly and as a rule generally don't tend to come, certainly not twice.
Good on you @XR500 for hosting the event.

Great to meet some new faces. And catch up with some not so new.
And you'll probably be surprised to hear Rushy, that I saw Maca with his lips wrapped around a Waikato.

One left over at the Bach, you left it after the last Sika Show here. Being vintage it tasted like a cheap port,

Great get together, best bonfire I’ve seen for a while, some good discussion, no politics or religion was a change. Thanks Simon, that’s a bloody long driveway, when you’ve had a couple.

Well done Simon and his lovely lady.
Would recommend it if Simon would like to repeat or someone else do similar.
But this location hard to beat.
Good company met some new good buggers.
Anybody will come away learning something new.
Not sure about Co2 from under a volcanic lake.
Taupo Kinloch house prices will plummet.
@onya reckoned it got down to 2C but fire was good.

That's a bummer only just saw this post. Would have loved to head up. Could have brought me air rifles and a few thousand pellets for a bit of group target plinking.
Oh well. Hope all had a great time.

The isolation is up today. All good to go out into the world now.

Seems a lack of energy is a problem for a while, mum went for a run yesterday and right now is sleeping, very unusual for her. I’m finishing putting new carpet in the boat, prick of a job

I have certainly had an issue with sustained energy over the last couple of days. One back pack of spray and a few barrows of clay and I was knackered enough for a nana nap yesterday.
