I am reasonably inexperienced in the NZ bush especially in winter, have done a lot in Africa but that is very different.
Would be good to hunt with someone more experienced if I can make it for the hunt.

From what I have seen of your bushcraft skills Phillip you would be fine to take someone less experienced with you. Barefoot you can count me as knowing my way around but I have agreed to hunt with Toby as he will likely not be physically able to take on the hillsQuote:
