Thread: Hunting comps 2019??

Hey guys looked on the net to see if theres any hunting comps coming up soon in couldnt see figured theyll come out in due time. I could mainly see pig hunting comps are common but i have no dogs so that would make it a little hard.also seen big four comp on there looks good.anyone know of any comps that i should search up or keep an eye out for.

DOC’s got a comp on at the moment it’s called
The great southern alps tahr hunt
The winner 1st prize gets to make the rules 2nd prize gets a helicopter contacts
and the looser gets the walk farther.

Ah yes, hunting competitions. Never actually been to one so decides to pop along to the weigh in for the Lincoln University one, whole heap of carcasses that had been shot up to three days prior all laying out in the sun, covered in flies, meat going to waste, but hey these guys were all there to stroke their egos and win a plastic tikka from hunting and fleecing, nothing about putting food on the table. Thats what I took away from the whole experience.

Hunting comps = dick measuring contest. I don't and never will support the mass slaughter of any animal's for competition. It's pretty bad when you see comps over summer and all those animal's baking in the sun. Feel the same way about spearfishing and fishing comps.

Dont know how they run spear fishing/fishing comps dwn Sth but the ones I’ve entered the fish weighed in get auctioned at the end of the comp and $$ raised goes back into the community

Yes some of the comps are run that way. It's just my opinion I don't care how any comp is run, the mass slaughter of any animal or fish for prizes doesn't sit well with me.

Is the great Easter bunny hunt still on....what about swamp comp
