    Impromptu .303 shoot

This weekend ( Sat 9th March ) we are having an improptu .303 shoot, no competition no prizes just a bring 'em and shoot 'em event.
Probably shoot at 300 and 600 yds only. The format will be pretty casual, you can shoot 2 sighters plus 5 for score or 2 sighters plus 10 for score. We dont even care if you just shoot sighters only aye @shift14.

We are open to you shooting any other range acceptable rifle as well.

But if you want to check on how accurate that old basher is its a good chance to see.

    BIIGG!!

Cant recall the exact specs but at 300 yds around 2 foot and at 600 maybe 4 foot. Its big enough that at 300 you can put the blade under the bull for a lolipop sight picture and get a measure of width at the same time.
The .303 is no sloutch its still getting along even at 600.

You are able to shoot them on other weekends too. Maybe get a few from your area?
We have been looking at doing some sort of business house events as well. Just need to look at costing options.

    As big as Texas.
At 300 they are about 18 inches across, at 600 about 36 inches.
@Old_School you can come along on any club day and shoot 303 or most calibers for that matter.
I was just trying to get a few on the line together.
I have a Lee Enfield range rifle for sale at the moment.! Good set of aperture sights with it, come along and give it a try.

Hey mate - I guess you’re just trying to reach out to like minded battle rifle enthusiasts but you’re sounding like a bot. Rephrasing a question that has already been more or less answered… These will be Fullbore Rifle accoustic targets and a quick google will pull out the scoring diagram dimensions.

    What clubs hold these days?
I see the range at TECT park holds an open day once a month.

@Old_School This is the Te Puke Rifle Club, any shooting day can be a "three Oh" day. We are closed for the season now but resume again in September. As we are located on a working farm.

We are seperate to the NZDA, if you want more info send me a PM
