Will shuffle around the little grey cells but duck season is looming so will assume July to next spring may be a suitable time temperature-wise for veterans. I do know of an area holding fallow where us seniors could access on 4wbikes from a good accomodation base. Other vets may know of similar options in NI.

Great thread, must have missed it originally, but wrong side of 65… maybe near enough. Be keen on spring fallow hunt if numbers allow.

Even better Woody. It would be rude of us not to tag old @Maca49 on this as well
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

And where are you going to find this mystical place?
You could tag along as a pall bearer? If there’s no deaths you can carry the deer out on your young back

yes I do know a spot - need quads - high deer numbers - will cost but likely $200 for each hunter self guided - no extra costs - and that will be fallow- $200 will buy a number of deer each

I'm a bit worried about you old buggers pegging out on this trip and it looking like I've bumped you off.
I'll help you carry them(the deer) out as long as you only shoot little ones.

No, but he’s cheap and guarantees the bottoms won’t fall out, what more could you ask for?

Nothing like a flash box to go in, I’m thinking of a flax bag and a blanket to cook in.

This appeals to me and I am interested. Does 65 yrs old qualify ? I don't know any of you guys either and don't know if that's automatics disqualification, but otherwise it would be fun getting to know a few other hunting gents. How does one know if some plans are firming up or is there an individual one should maintain contact with ?
    Cheers
