Super great time boys and girls!! Sorry I've been busy all morning looking at the toy(s) @Shearer sold me on and DOC maps and huts etc. I truly appreciate y'all welcoming me here in so many ways. Unfortunately, the more time I spend here the more I realize the people of this country are all very quietly super duper badass. Lucky for me I got a list of tramps and huts that would be easy for my little girls to do so I'll see if'n I can survive those first.
The good news is that my car was smoking a lot less after the trip down the hill compared to the trip up

Yes. Great catch up guys. Good to see @stingray taking a bunch of soft baits home to add to his collection.
    Thanks @Pengy.

A great night spent in awsome company.
Many thanks to VC (masterchef) for not only providing the pig, but also cooking it to perfection on the spit that he built. I was so busy prepping the rest of the stuff, I barely saw the going of the Pork

The dedication shown by my guests to brave the rain was inspiring. Thankfully VC also provided a good sized marquee.
Cheers to first time visitors @Happyjack & @Joe Schmo. Getting a life perspective from a recently relocated American was eye opening.
Big thanks to all of those special people, and a special mention to Roktoy junior who kept the braziers going all night, and cooked breakfast for 10 of us Sunday morning.

Yep was a great night, finally got to meet Cam, Mrs Shearer and Mrs ROKTOY, big ups to ROKTOY junior for the heat during the evening and breakfast in the morning its just a pity @stingray got spooked by the softbaits and ran away early.

And finally big thanks to Pengy for an amazing venue despite the rain.
    Happy Jack.

I’ll quietly add my thanks, got a lift from @joeschmo up to the loft , stopped at my house build where he said nice things and offered a couple of really neat ideas to get the most out of the entrance coat/ boots / room ,

Arrived to meet the locals turning the spit and yarning up a storm, enjoyed an ale the more guests arrived , got them settled in and back to the spit and yarning , ate mussels and delicious tucker , vc propped the pork to test , rested and perfect ..ate tea rain set in ,

Had to leave early as I had hockey teams to coach , got a lift to the gate by the host with the most , arguing with the lure fishers was epic and made me laugh , loved every second of the banter and accusations.

Once again Tim you bring wonderful folks together in you most precious bit of turf , my time was short but by hell it was an afternoon of laughter and warmth and friendship.
Thank you all , and as JoeSchmo said I’m booking in for next year! ..cheers guys and the ladies it was epic
    Nil durum volenti !!
