North (tries to) catch up to south island

So a bit of a rum fueled thought.....

What about a north south shoot?
Thinking some thing like, each island have a shoot, submit scores etc... Maybe classes, etc..... Then maybe a combined shoot, but all scores mater. Meaning we could have a island / nation meet and shoot, but dont want the the cost of inter island travel to be a hinderance.

Maybe a handycap system on the scoring, blaser = -8, tikka +2, etc,.... Ni -2 si +5, etc......

Really its just a reason to get a group of people together for a shot and a piss take at the end

    Thoughts?

1 the north island would clearly win
2 we could do this in October?
3 blasers shouldn't be allowed at any shooting comps
    4 I like your idea

@Rushy the South Island is a myth, no such thing as the South Island. Tell as many North Islanders as you can.

    Good idea Beaker.
But like the super rugby we will have to have a conference style competition so the north islanders get a look in.

You know, get less points than everyone else but still get to play in the finals😆

If it was 2014 you would have said people should be penalised for NOT using one

You leave the .338 alone. I am going to arm wrestle Brad's for that.

Now where is the sport in that Mikee? Brad's is half my age and has twice my strength so he will probably fancy himself in an arm wrestle and will take me on. He will probably have my arm over at 45 degrees to his advantage inside the first minute but then ........... well let's just say that with age comes experience and wisdom ........ of and a lifetime of applying the nipple twist when the opponent least expects it. Ha ha ha ha.
