He would want to bring a 338
Na will bring my AR. Have two spare 22's that way.
Maca I will probably whip down to Tokoroa and see Duck-kila and borrow the nikko sterling off the old TOZ of mine he has sitting there as it is on a dovetail to weaver adapter I need to get my led lenser P7 off it anyway that should keep me going till I can pay for the leupold VX1 2-7x33 I have been offered just need this rain to piss off first so I can get back into my full weeks of work
PLEASE NOTE --I went to the farm in the weekend to discuss the shoot with he farmer .She has informed me that all who wish to come onto the farm for a weekend and overnight camp shoot will be required to pay $30 --not the booze koha as I had hoped .The rabbits were plentiful and probably best sniped from one side of the hill to the other .There are some bush areas on the side of the hills which one could use a shotgun but I suggest sniping to test your skill .
I will keep you guys informed to the date but hopefully late next month
Sweet as EB as per PM definitely put me down on the attendee list late next month should give me ample time to get the marlin scoped up and sighted in and to stock up on some ammo for that weekend just need to find who has some mexican made fiocchi ammo.
Waikato hunting and fishing should have the Mexican fiocchi, they normally stock it. If not, I've still got some from when I was trying to find a replacement for CCI subs.
And just to reiterate, El B, still have two keen.
I will pop in there sometime and have a look.
Around that time suits for me
Cheers Happy. Any restrictions on numbers as if you go to pg 1. That's a lot of people so far ? Be a good event. ,!
+1
Still keen to go just let us know the date so I can arrange time off work, but the one thing is I may need a ride there and back as I am in the process of fixing my wagon seeing it decided to blow its head gasket last week and feed oil into my cooling system so unsure how long that is going to take me to fix up as I have to do the job myself and currently stuck with my mothers sad excuse for a car (daihatsu charade) under the strict rule of no taking it out hunting.
Should be able to spare a seat for you hunter. Will talk closer to the date once known.
Sweet as peril very much appreciated mate
@el borracho is there any updates as to when it is all go?
Sorry guys but not as yet due to the start of bird season ---but not far away!!! and believe me its great shooting
Please don't be the weekend of the 24th, got a long awaited hunting trip with the old man, don't want to miss either event.
Late May or early June would be good if still on. Cheers
As long as it is not the same weekend as the 15th of june got the Te Kuiti field shoot to go to. @el borracho when is the rabbit shooting weekend going to happen ?
Hey el borracho
If this is still on and the numbers allow, I would like to tag along.
