HI GUYS,
I am looking at organising a trip to Fiordland looking for recommendations of live aboard boats that cater for fishing diving & hunting trips.
Any information you have would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I remember a thread on this forum on a trip like that from a couple of years back. Maybe search using Fiordland.
Thanks rushy. Would you be keen.?
Don't leave it to long old man:D
He's only a young fellah Maca.
It's you I'm worried about!

Well get ya shit together, let the moths out of your wallet and get to it!
mohawk 660 I'll ask Grant as he and his mates went on one last year. Had a ball - Shot, dived and had a great time for a week. Sent boxes of crays home. From Te Anau I'll get onto him before he goes to worlds in Portugal and get the details for you.
What time is the year are you thinking? A family friend runs the Cindy Hardy now and operates under "Cruise Fiordland"

:: Genesis Fishing Charters - Fishing, Hunting, Diving - Fiordland, West Coast and Marlborough
A 73 footer live on board they put them off to Hunt / fish / dive from had tenders they could go off and do their thing and looked after them magnificently...
@Barefoot - I think that's a nice pressy @Rushys organised for you :ORLY:
The secretary of finance requires more details.
Dearest Rush, I have contacted 4 charter firms from down in fiordland one is booked out until 2019, I am waiting to hear back from the others. At a guess I would say it will between $2500_$3000, per person depending on how many days we go for, and the company.
As some boats take 8 people some can take 12 etc..
Well if it gets delayed till 2018 I can survive and spend some money elsewhere. It's time to shoot a tahr, I put it off this year because I haven't dropped enough weight to make those hills seem smaller.
They're still hills, no steeper than at work, they just take a bit longer to walk up.
And you sort out the charter for 2018.
Well that's our big expenses sorted for the next 2 years . . . .
So @Rushy you up for climbing a few hills next year?
Has anyone one been on the "Cindy Hardy " with Cruise Fiordland, how do you rate them?
There is an auction tonight for a 4 day live aboard for 7 guys in Fiordland hunting, diving and fishing with two of NZ's best spearfishermen. The auction is fundraising for the team's trip to Syros in Greece for the spearfishing world champs later this year.
The auction is being held at a swanky dinner but phone bidding is available or I could ask someone to bid on your behalf if anyone is seriously keen. Could get a group together and come up with a punt of what it's worth to ya...
which company is the trip with ? Pm me your details and the details of the trip if you know them, ie what does it include?
Posting a photo is way too tricky from my work computer and I haven't figured out how to do it from my phone but here is the detail of the ad from FB.
"4 day hunting/fishing trip for 7 people to Fiordland or Stewart Island with Dwane Herbert and Julian Hansford. This is the trip of a lifetime to either Fiordland or Stewart Island for you and 6 of your friends.
The 4 day trip sees you live-aboard the 60ft fishing boat San Nicholas. All meals and accommodation is included for your choice of hunting, fishing and freediving in and around Stewart Island or Fiordland.
Your hosts on this trip are NZ Spearfishing Team members Dwane and Julian, who will skipper the boat and guide you to the best hunting and fishing spots the south has to offer.
Excludes flights and transfers"
Dwane and Julian are genuine GCs who know what they are doing. Top blokes who love to have a laugh and a good time. If anyone I know wins the auction I will be trying my hardest to be one of their six mates.
It went for 11K. Bidding stalled at about 8K but then a couple of the lads' wives got stuck in - Good result
