Thread: Tauranga meeting with National 5th Dec

Who is going to be there from National?
I think we need to engage meaningfully with them regardless of any personal thoughts. I believe we need as many people on our side rather than rarking them up and disenfranchising them.
The other posts on here regarding David Seymour are to be commended and I know there are some National MP's who are livid with the actions taken by this govt. We need to harness that energy. The law looks like it will go through in March however the talk I have had with my MP is that National are eyeing up a possibility of changing the law back to a degree once in power. David Seymour's reported responses at his public meetings is a good source of intentions and at this stage that is all we have to rely on. I'd rather be seen trying and planning for some semblance of reality. National will need ACT as NZ First is not an option after the up and coming election. The trend to party Vote Act with your local MP choice open to your personal views seems logical.
