    Ted Rogers - Militaria Auction 17th & 18th October

    Just out from Ted. (edited)
    Evening everyone,

RE: Covid-19 situation and how it affects our Militaria Auction over the weekend of 17th & 18th October.

The Government announced yesterday that they will make a further decision on the 21st of September whether our country goes back into level 1.

That decision will enable us to hold the auction at Southwards Car Museum at Paraparaumu.

If the country remains in level 2 where we can’t have a gathering of more than 100 people, we will make the auction a “Postal Auction Only”,

The printers will post out the catalogue shortly.

We will keep you updated with more information after the 21st if the Government decides if we will move to Level 1.

    Ted and the Team
    On first glance,

1875 items listed (minus a few that have been withdrawn)
Appears to be a lot of small bore rifles this time around
A lot of pistols and Endorsed Licence items
Some very nice full-wood military and sporting rifles
    Some unusual shit

    A teaser

If any good genuine bugger requires the catalogue & Bidding Form, they can PM me.

Yeah and quite a few lots passed ins.
I bid on a book (along with 4 others in the lot that I didn't really want). Put a stupid high postal in. High because I missed the same book in an auction a few years ago. At any rate the lot failed to meet reserve. Far out, how high is the reserve?

Sent Ted an email saying I could still be interested but in the meantime have found and purchased the book from a bookshop in Oz.

There were some mug bids there. Saw projectiles sell for more than you can get them for from Workshop Inno postage included. Some people don't do their 13.5% +gst buyer's premium calc which at Ted's is one of the highest around.
