I arrive down there on June 5th for a Tahr hunt. Leave something for me chaps

Hunting comps vaccuum up all of the easy animals, so they are in direct competition with me

Snow hit and Burkes Pass got closed just as we were heading out of Fairlie to the weigh-in No comp for us.

Now I am stuck with my entry for 'heaviest goat' and boy does he reek

Got him out of the wagon quick-smart, and it's cold enough out that he won't go off too fast. Up-side to the snow I guess.

A good turn out to the weigh in, didn't hang about to see who one but there was a nice looking ten that would have got that. Only about three red heads I could see and a couple of fallow. think the heaviest pig was around the 70kg mark, and sounds like there was only .5 kilo in it.
Plenty of hares, rabbits, wallabies etc as well as a peacock.
