I'd like to come but hoping to be on a moose hunt in BC.

Overkill is still dead.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
@7mmwsm Pretty weak excuse..... Try again ...:
But seriously, that sounds bloody awesome. Hunted Moose myself. Absolutely first rate experience.
I will claim that I have greatly influenced this outcome as I was in the pub with @Beaker yesterday evening and your name and the guiding activities of your daughters came up in conversation. You are welcome. Enjoy the experience, they a massive animals.

Cheers Rushy. Don't be surprised if you get a Inreach message from up there asking for your advice on how to get out of a situation.

I did not mean to imply that I had hunted moose but I did come extremely close to colliding with one in a truck a couple of decades back so am very acquainted with the size of the buggers. As to advice, I will forearm you. If you find yourself between a grizzly and her cubs, immediately bend over and kiss your arse goodbye. If you find yourself between a mountain lion and her kits do similarly. Same with a wolverine and her young etcetera ad infinitum for all dangerous animals. Standing behind someone else and pushing them forward may also work to your advantage in such circumstances. Ha ha ha ha. Have a great trip mate.
