Thread: Tokoroa Practical 22LR - COLFO Fundraiser

Hi All as per advertisement. GPRE will be running a Practical 22LR event at Tokoroa Sport Shooting Complex on Saturday the 14th of September. All proceeds (minus expenses) will be donated to the COLFO "Fair and Reasonable" fund.

can you use iron sights? I haven't managed to find a pair of rings for my gevarm yet

Yes, you can use iron sights... It will not be easy but you can use them.

Dont worry too much they arent known for target like accuracy anyhow but are a hell of a lot of fun to shoot. Takes some people a while to figure out bolt closed =safe

It is just a fun gun for me. Shooting varmints etc. If I get under an inch I'd be happy.

I have had a couple of people who are now unable to make it along. That means we have a couple of spots left if anyone else wants to come along.

At the moment we will be donating about $1000 to the COLFO Fair and Reasonable campaign off the back of this event.

Hi , is there a camping ground in the Tokoroa area?, a spot for my caravan.

Depends what you are after. For some events at TSSC they will allow camping on the range. Otherwise there is a motor camp in Tokoroa.
