SCRSC put on another awesome event.
Just under 2400 heads and wallaby's were brought in to the comp. Largest was 19.1KG smallest was 0.7kg
The team I was in shot 296 wallaby's, 8 pigs, and lots of bunnies. (and we probably only had a 40% recovery rate??)
Weather was very cold and windy on our side. No rain which was good though. Saturday night was the best. Wind died off and there was no moon.
Wobblies popped out onto the fringes of the green feed paddocks and were easy targets. Rest of the time it was very hard going. So much feed around meant the roos weren't having to go very far for tucker, and they were sitting very tight in the scrub.
