Rushy (swigging down before the others), csmiffy, Steve, Phil (seated), Harry (host and king of the curried eggs), Ryan (seated) and John. Gadgetman scarpered when the grog got poured lest he feint from the fumes.
It was a great day. Steve lead us on a tour beyond the black stump that took in seven lakes Waitaki, Aviemore, Benmore, Rustaniwha, Oahu, Pukaki and Tekapo. Plus I got to drive right through the middle of the Tekapo defence land where I did my corps training fifty plus years ago.

Bloody hell @Philipo I had the same trouble getting out of the South Island as you had getting in. Had to take my lots off, hands overhead in the whirly gig thing, pat down etc all the while with a couple of coppers armed with their tasers and Glock 17’s giving me the evils. Fuck guys if you want me to stay just say so and gift me Waitaki village.
