    A good sharpen whilst maintaining the cutting edge angle is probably enough. Flat the back of the blade to get rid of any burrs , lube the pivot point and test run them to see they do cut.

    The slight bow in one blade is indeed designed to keep the cutting faces in constant tension and contact.
