I've tried a number of different fabric types, including a lot of the new fandangaly ones. All have left me somewhat underwhelmed.

Now wearing MKM shearers singlets and tops. Both are awesome, should have switched to them sooner. Are cool in hot weather, especially when pushing up the steep stuff. Then warm in cold weather, if they get wet they stay warm. Awesome breathability and wicks moisture very well. Shearers quarters get up and above 30C in summer and they work just fine for them. Last they're tough as nails!
