    Air mattress's

    Hey Folks!

My air mattress has done its dash and as such I'll be needing a new one for my trip in march and I'm after some recommendations from people who use their gear!

Wanting to keep it sub $250 but will spend a touch more if it's worth it. Lighter the better but in ththe scenario of weight vs comfort I'll prefer comfortable over weight saving.

    Any recommendations much appreciated.

Not on sale anymore but got itat around $220-250 IIRC tried it a few nights at home but not out on a trip happy with it. Really warm and would be able to get away with a lighter sleeping bag

    I've recently bought a NEMO 20R.

    Packs down small. Very comfortable.

Import a Thermarest, you'll never regret it. I have 2x Thermarest NeoAir XTherm - Rectangle version. Imported both for $450 NZD

This. Mine is the large size and it folds/rolls down to the size of a 500ml pump bottle. It’s a tad “crunchy” when you lie on it, but that’s the only negative I can think of.

I’ve got an Exped Synmat HL. Brilliant. I also have the snoozle pump bag that my dry clothes go in, is the pump for the mat obviously, and works as a decent pillow.

+1 same here. Used an Exped downmat lite 5 for a few years, then decided to drop a bit more weight from my pack and got a synmat hyperlite when biv had them on sale. Mat, pump bag, stuff sack and repair kit combined together weighs 448g.
