They are a great, well made, lightweight boot.

They aren’t very wide so get a size up and if need be you can put thick socks on if that doesn’t work for you

Have a geez at this website https://www.tradeinn.com/
Bought my Salewa crows off there a couple months ago, ended up being $200 cheaper than here in NZ. They stock a heap of AKU's and there shipping is great.

got my Aku from these people as well, definitely go a half or full size larger if you have wide feet.

That's a bugger to hear as the biggest size is already only just a fit

I wore a pair out over the last two years. Pilgrim GTX. They went well but one boot did loose it’s waterproof pretty quick when the synthetic outer layer got damaged into the goretex. They were worked hard with work and hunting though. Really nice and light.

So as a NI stalking boot how do you rate them.

A bit late to the party, but when I was living in London we spent a Christmas in Vienna. I found a local Miendl retailer while we were there, intending to buy a pair to bring back to NZ with me - and ended up walking out with a pair of AKUs. Couldn't tell you the model, but they have been thrashed and repaired since then - an absolutely beautiful pair of boots for North Island bush hunting.
