My TDi my K2 pack.
Mate I purchased a Spika Drover. I rate it big time. Good meat shelf design, not as heavy as you'd think but the frame is interchangeable similar to Kuiu. 40L for overnighters/couple days and 80L for longer. Wont regret it.
I’ve got a pack here which is a One Planet 75L. It’s very good quality and it’s not being used by me. I was going to keep it for my young fella but that’s unfortunately still miles away. It’s a climbing pack that’s solid as and will last a lifetime.
$200.

Yep, my day pack is the MK 2:

Everything in my main compartment is in molle type pouches, first aid kits, binos, food cookers etc... It stays in my pack unless i get either a large animal or two, then i can strap everything to the outside which clears all the space internally for meat.
This then all matches my ghillie suit and camo face paint!
No just kidding! The reason i switched to this system is a personal observation that a large portion of hunters end up with buggered knees and hips. In order to preserve mine for longer, to intern be physically capable of hunting for longer into my senior years i shifted my mentality on carrying weight and recovery. I view and treat it like a gym session doing squats and dead lifts, so want any weight im bearing held tight to my back and sitting on my hips with no movement or slop. This is more aligned to how joints are designed to operate (hinge/ball socket). Gone are the days of me carrying whole animals or using floppy packs.
I strictly use packs with external frames and that can be customised exactly to my body size, type and according to the load i'm carrying. They must be fully adjustable in every way so as to avoid shearing and grinding away my knees and hips.
Lastly if i'm spending decent money on some kit i want it to last, so it has to be built tough and stand up to abuse. I used to avoid camo like the plague, but eventually got sick of buying various fancy brands which shred to pieces in months. So switched to built to abuse army surplus which is by in large cheaper to buy too.

Alice pack
Go talk to Veterans affairs and find out just how many retired infantrymen are nursing fucked joints AND having a bloody hard time getting the Crown to pay for the damages inflicted upon them by having to cart their FSMO and two first lines up hill and down dale in a fuckin shit can of a pack called ALICE
Buy this if it fits @cambo way petter pack than hunters element or whatever
Personally can't speak highly enough of the Osprey stuff. Some of the models are are a bit pocket heavy but they are also no questions guarantee and hold a lot more than rated (well so far so good anyway).
That One Planet is nice though. Never used one in anger but was impressed with the manufacturing etc when my mate brought one. He loves it like I do my Osprey and there are more than a few similarities.
